By downloading, installing, or using the MuMood app for macOS or the website https://mumood.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Service Description
MuMood is a macOS application that personalizes your desktop with intelligent wallpapers and reactive visuals. Some features may analyze music metadata (Apple Music/Spotify) via compatible integrations. MuMood is not affiliated with any third‑party service. An Internet connection may be required for certain features.
User Obligations
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority applicable in your country) to use the Service.
You agree to comply with applicable laws and the terms of third‑party services (e.g., Apple Music/Spotify) when using MuMood.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and device, as well as the macOS configuration required for proper operation.
License and Usage Rights
We grant you a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use MuMood for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
You may not decompile, reverse engineer, modify, circumvent technical protections, resell, or distribute the Service or its components.
Unless stated otherwise, a license is tied to a single user/device. Updates may be installed automatically and form part of the Service.
Privacy and Data
Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy available at Privacy Policy.
We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the Service, including account information and transaction data where applicable.
You have rights over your data (access, rectification, deletion, objection) under applicable laws (including GDPR, where applicable).
Pricing and Payments
MuMood does not currently offer subscriptions. Some features or paid editions may be offered as a one‑time purchase.
For purchases via the Mac App Store, refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. For any direct purchase, requests are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable law.
Our pricing terms may change and will be communicated with reasonable notice on the site. No automatic renewal applies to one‑time purchases.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. For any purchases, manage them via the Mac App Store or contact us according to the applicable terms.
We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement, to the extent permitted by law. MuMood does not provide medical advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuMood shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability, if any, is limited to the total amounts paid over the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms. Changes will be posted on the website with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after publication constitutes acceptance.
